1. About This Platform

Snoo Hire Australia (“we”, “us”, “our”, or the “Platform”) is an online platform designed to connect individuals who own a Snoo bassinet (“Owners”) with individuals seeking to rent one (“Renters”).

The Platform provides an introductory, communication, and information-sharing service only, allowing private parties to connect and communicate directly. We do not participate in, manage, supervise, or control any rental arrangements between users.

We do not rent, own, supply, inspect, clean, certify, store, deliver, transport, repair, or maintain any Snoo bassinet. All Snoo bassinets are owned and supplied exclusively by Platform users.

We are an independent online platform operated in Australia and are not affiliated with, sponsored by, authorised by, or endorsed by Happiest Baby Inc. or the Snoo brand. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

3. Platform Role (Connection Only)

Snoo Hire Australia operates solely as a connection platform and does not act as a rental provider, agent, broker, distributor, representative, partner, or fiduciary of any user.

All rental arrangements, payments, delivery, and use of any Snoo bassinet are private matters solely between the Owner and the Renter.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you acknowledge and agree that the Platform’s role is limited to providing an online space for users to connect, and that we do not assume and do not owe a duty of care to any user in relation to any rental arrangement, interaction, listing, communication, delivery, or the condition, safety, use, or suitability of any Snoo bassinet.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any duty, right, or liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

6. User Awareness and Assumption of Risk

Users acknowledge that renting or supplying baby equipment involves inherent risks and uncertainties. Participation in any arrangement facilitated through the Platform is voluntary and at the user’s own risk.

You agree that you have not relied on statements, representations, screenshots, marketing materials, social media content, or communications outside these Terms when deciding to use the Platform or enter any arrangement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snoo Hire Australia is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, cost, or claim arising from use of the Platform, user interactions, rental arrangements, or use of any Snoo bassinet.

Where liability cannot be excluded, liability is limited to the resupply of the Platform service or the cost of resupply.

Any templates or guidance provided are optional and do not constitute legal, medical, parenting, or safety advice. Users should seek independent professional advice where appropriate.

13. User Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering binding agreements.

Users must not provide false information or use the Platform for unlawful or harmful purposes.

15. Right to Refuse Service

We may refuse service, suspend access, or remove content at our discretion without notice. These actions do not create an obligation to monitor or intervene.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Snoo Hire Australia from claims, losses, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your use of the Platform, your conduct, or any rental arrangement.

The Platform is provided for users in Australia only and does not constitute an offer of services outside Australia.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement regarding use of the Platform.

If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

We are not responsible for personal information shared directly between users or handled outside the Platform.
